U Chiang Mai is charming and full of history as its beautiful guest lounge with vibrant colours, traditional art and luxurious greenery, was once the residence of the Mayor of Chiang Mai. There are just 41 luxurious rooms at this very special boutique hotel and each has been stylishly furnished with dark wood furniture, large pieces of Thai art adorning the walls and soft furnishings in strong shades of crimson, gold and orange. Each room has a beautiful balcony complete with day bed. Inside there is a comfortable king size bed with a pillow menu, living area with 37” LCD TV with satellite channels, an iPod dock, plus tea and coffee making facilities. There is individual climate control and Wi Fi. The bathrooms are very stylish and dressing gowns and slippers are provided.

    Three of the superior rooms are available with direct pool access. Inside there is 33 sq m of floor area with a king size bed, living area and beautiful bathroom with a rain shower.
  • Deluxe Room

    These 12 rooms are really rather special and perfect for honeymooners who would like privacy in luxurious surroundings. With a floor area of 43 sq m, these rooms are very spacious and have a king size bed, living area and stylish bathroom with separate bath and rain shower. Outside on the balcony there is a comfortable day bed.

Facilities

U Chiang Mai is perfectly situated for those who want to explore the largest and most cultural city in northern Thailand and its welcoming ambience is lovely to return to after a day out and about.

Moments of relaxation can be enjoyed at U Spa, with 3 treatment rooms offering Asian and European style massages. Herbal steams, facials and body wraps are also available. The hotel’s fitness centre boasts of state of the art equipment and is open 24 hours. In between exploring Chiang Mai enjoy relaxation at the hotel’s pool, which surrounds the beautiful gardens.

    This attractive restaurant has a lovely relaxing ambience as it has deep red walls that are decorated with mirror art so that they sparkle in the candlelight. The tables are really dark wood and the chairs in soft red leather and the bubbly atmosphere is similar to a Parisian bistro. The menu includes some great spicy dishes and curries plus some international favourites too.
