Room Types

Moana Surfrider hosts 791 rooms and suites, all furnished with Hawaiin charm and modern day interiors and facilities. Spend your Hawaii honeymoon wrapped in comfort with the range of opulent amenities in every room. Bathrooms feature a dressing table vanity, bath amenities, slippers, Terry bathrobes, luxury toiletries and a hairdryer. In-room entertainment includes in-room movies, video games, newspapers and a flat screen TV with satellite. Each room includes an in-room safe and alarm clock. Please note that all rooms are non-smoking rooms.
  • City View Rooms

    The City View rooms measure between 24-32 sq. meters and offer sublime views of Waikiki. Enjoy Wi-Fi access, a 32-inch LCD flat screen TV, complimentary Royal Kona coffee, a selection of Tazo teas and the use of a refrigerator. Each room features a king size bed or two double beds. Traditional décor can be enjoyed throughout the room, with crisp white sheets and abstract framed artwork.
  • Tower Partial Ocean Rooms

    The 32 sq. meters Tower Partial Ocean Rooms are located in the contemporary tower wing and feature partial views of the Pacific Ocean and Waikiki beach. Glorious sunsets can be adored from the large balcony, which includes two lounge chairs and a table. Furnishings in the Tower Partial Ocean rooms are crafted from dark hardwoods and bamboo, which echo the natural landscapes of Hawaii. Each room includes one king size bed or two double beds.
  • Banyan Tree Classic Ocean Room

    Banyan Classic Ocean Club room offers views of Waikiki beach and the Banyan Tree in a tranquil and intimate setting.     The Diamonds Deluxe Ocean Room features splendid Ocean views, which can be appreciated from the Juliet balcony. This room type effortlessly combines traditional Hawaii heritage with an elegant colour palette to bring in a cozy and relaxed ambience. Each of these rooms measure 313 sq. feet.

    The Tower Ocean Rooms measure 348 sq. feet and overlook the glistening Ocean and serene Island, which can be enjoyed from the furnished balcony.     The 450 sq. feet Penthouse Ocean Rooms showcase some of the Island’s most sublime views across Waikiki beach and the glistening Pacific Ocean.   • Banyan Ocean Suites

    The Banyan Ocean Suites allow for beautiful panoramas of Waikiki beach and the azure blue waters. Elegant and Hawaiian furnishings can be seen throughout the rooms, giving you a little touch of comfort and hospitality on your Hawaii honeymoon. The living area includes comfortable furnishings such as a sofa and dining table. The bathroom features a walk-in shower for a spa-like experience.
  • Tower Wing Suite

    The Tower Wing Suite measures between 460-788 sq. feet and offers exceptional Ocean views as well as iconic views of the Diamond Head. Each suite features a cozy living room with opulent furnishings, a daybed and dining table. The luxurious bathroom hosts a glass-enclosed rainforest shower with dual vanities.
  • Penthouse Ocean Suites

    The Penthouse Ocean Suites are divided into 3 categories. The Hokulani Suite features floor to ceiling sliding doors, which lead to the lanai. Enjoy peaceful tanning time on the spacious balcony with loungers. The living room includes a 32-inch TV and dining area. The Moana Suite features floor to ceiling windows, which allow the natural sunlight to seep in through the spacious suite. Views from the wrap around balcony include Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. Finally, the Po’okela Suite includes two walls of floor to ceiling windows, a glass-enclosed rainforest shower and a stand alone soaking tub for a truly relaxing experience on your Hawaii honeymoon. Each of the Penthouse Ocean Suites includes dual vanities, exclusive beach club access and a top floor location.

There’s plenty to do on your Hawaii honeymoon when staying at the Moana Surfrider. Whether you’re looking to relax poolside or looking to pick up the pace with some water activities.

Head to Waikiki Beach where a host of amenities from the aloha beach service can be found, including Surf boards and lessons, boogle boards, cance rides and catamaran rentals.

Spend your honeymoon embarking on a new experience everyday with a range of resort activities at Moana Surfrider such as afternoon tea, whale watching historical walks and tours. Spend an afternoon exploring the historic Banyan Tree, which is now a refugee for some of Hawaii’s beautiful birds that perch on its 150-foot branches.
Water activities can also be booked through the resort including snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, catamaran sails and a private beach area.

Beak a sweat in the WestinWorkout Fitness Studio, which is open 24 hours and includes the latest fitness technology, cardio machines and free weights. After you’ve done your workout, you deserve a little indulgence. Moana Lani Spa by Westin uses Hawaiian therapies through a selection of body treatments and facials. Nail services are also available at the spa, which is located on the second floor of the tower wing and features a Vichy shower room, a couple’s treatment room, a dry sauna and water therapy areas.

The outdoor pool is available to guests of Moana Surfrider only and offers towels and lounges as well as poolside food and beverage services.

The Beach Club at Moana Surfrider is exclusive to Banyan Tree Classic Ocean view rooms, Penthouse Ocean rooms and all suites. This relaxing space features cozy furnishings as well as computer workstations and complimentary high speed Wi-Fi.

    Beachhouse is elegant dining experience with a modern twist, quality steaks, fresh seafood and island infused dishes can be found at Beachhouse. The dress code is smart casual. Open hours: 5.30 pm – 9.30 pm.
  • Surfrider Café

    The Surfrider Café hosts a menu of healthy drinks and meals that can be taken out. Menus include coffee, pastries, fruit bowels, salads and sandwiches. Open hours: 6 am – 10.30 pm.
  • The Beach Bar

    The beach bar is positioned just steps from Waikiki Beach and offers tropical beverages and appetizers. The dress code is casual. Open hours: 10.30 am – 12 am.
  • The Veranda

    The Veranda is the perfect place for afternoon tea, located under the historic banyan tree with the sea just moments away. Open hours: 6 am – 3 pm.
