Room Types

Makena Beach and Golf Resort exudes with Hawaiian style, which is infused in the plush furnishings and tropical balcony views. 290 rooms and 20 suites are scattered across the resort on 5 levels, each guest room is designed with simple elegance, which reflects the inviting hues of the tropical surroundings. Each room and suite guarantees wonderful ocean views, which can be appreciated from the furnished private lanais with sliding screen doors.

Scenic Room

Located on the lower floors, the Scenic Rooms offer 500 sq. ft. of private living space. Enjoy tropical views of the resort’s adjacent gardens and the Ocean peeping through in the far distance. The scenic room features a kong size bed or double queen and a private furnished balcony.
Partial Ocean Front

The Partial Ocean Front Rooms measure 430-500 sq. ft and feature a king or double queen size bed. Partial Ocean views can be adored from the private furnished balcony.
Ocean View

Enjoy tranquil vistas of Makena from the private lanai, which is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise or set. Each room measures 430-500 sq. ft. with either one king size bed or a double queen bed.
Premium Ocean View

Each Premium Ocean View Rooms measure 430 sq. ft. and feature a king size bed and sitting furnishings. Each room offers sublime ocean views, which are best appreciated from the private furnished balcony.
Ocean Front

Boasting as some of Makena Beach and Golf Resort’s finest rooms, the Ocean Front room is located in the middle of the resorts wings, with absolute unobstructed Ocean views from the private furnished balcony. Each room measures 430-500 sq. ft. and includes one king size bed or two queen beds.
Ali ‘I Suite

The Ali ‘I Suite measures an impressive 1166 sq. ft. with panoramic views of the Ocean throughout the suite. The wrap around balcony features plush furnishings to enjoy wonderful sunsets. The wet bar features a Keurig coffee machine with assorted Starbucks coffees and teas. Each suite benefits of high tech amenities such as a flat screen TV and Bose sound system.
Ocean Front Suite

The 1100 sq. ft. Ocean Front Suite offer pristine ocean views of Lanai, Molokini islet and Maui’s west end across the bay. These suites offer living and dining areas in a cozy setting for a relaxing honeymoon in Hawaii. Enjoy two private lanais; the spacious bathrooms come with a shower and tub. The Ocean Front Suites feature two private lanais with screened doors where beautiful panoramas can be enjoyed.
Partial Ocean View Suite

The Partial Ocean View Suites are situated at the very end of each wing, with the ultimate private experience you could wish for. The partial ocean views can be enjoyed from the furnished balcony. Each room measures 700-1000 sq. ft and includes one king or double queen size bed.

Room service is offered between 6:30 am until 10 pm and an in-room dining menu is available ad well as ocean side dining with your feet dug in the pristine sand.

Molokini Bar & Grille

Inspired by island cuisine, the Molokini Bar and Grille offers dishes based on American classes, which are turned into Hawaiian masterpieces. The menu includes steaks; island caught fish, and salads. Live entertainment is also on offer from 6 pm daily and happy hour is from 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm. Sunday brunch is from 9:30 am until 12:30pm.
Café Kiowai

Café Kiowai serves a buffet breakfast with an al fresco ambience surrounding the Japanese inspired gardens. Enjoy dishes such as eggs benedict, poached eggs; honey cured ham, cornbread, baked breads, muffins and croissants.
Pool Bar and Grill

The Pool bar and Grill is a laidback breezy setting for a casual island lunch, or late afternoon cocktails. Enjoy dishes such as pizzas, sandwiches and burgers. The Pool bar is open from 11 am until sunset.
Barista 5400

Barista 5400 is situated in the lobby where you can enjoy Starbucks coffee; quality baked goods and freshly made Panini’s. Open from 6 am until 5pm.
