Overview

Elegantly located next to the world famous Yala National Park, Wild Coast Tented Lodge is an unforgettable camp experience for your Sri Lanka honeymoon. Overlooking the Indian Ocean where jungle and beach meet, your honeymoon at Wild Coast Tented Lodge invites you to take in the breathtaking natural surroundings, whether it be from the expansive free-form swimming pool or the open-air bar and dining pavilion that will create new memories that will last with you both forever.

Due to its excellent location, Wild Coast Tented Lodge is a nature lover’s paradise with exceptional wildlife encounters to be had, from elephants to sloth bears and leopards.

Room Types

They are uniquely shaped domed tents with soaring vaulted ceilings and large sliding windows at the front and circular windows elsewhere. There is a sun deck with table and chairs plus sun loungers. There is an open plan living and sleeping area with chairs, a writing desk, mini bar, Sonos steaming audio and king size four poster bed. The bathroom has a handmade copper bath tub, twin copper basins and walk-in shower. There is air conditioning and Wi-Fi is provided.

Cocoon Suite

With views of the jungle from the huge windows, this 55m² suite is stylish, comfortable and very romantic. They are in groups of four situated around a watering hole frequented by a variety of wildlife. There are comfortable chairs in the living area, a four-poster bed with drapes and bathroom with twin copper wash basins and a copper bath tub.
Cocoon Pool Suite

There are just four of this style of cocoon suite which nestle amongst the trees facing the beach with the dark blue waters of the ocean beyond. The sandy beach is just a few footsteps away. Outside these secluded suites (55m²) have a beautiful plunge pool with sun terrace for wonderful relaxing moments.

Facilities

Wild Coast Lodge is perfect for lazy days in the sunshine! It has a really large free form swimming pool with sun terrace. Situated close to the ocean, the Sanctuary Spa is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Going on safari is the highlight of a honeymoon at Wild Coast Lodge and the library has plenty of information about local wildlife and there are presentations given by the Lodge's expert guides who all work tirelessly on local conservation projects.

Restaurants

The spacious bamboo Dining Pavilion is wrapped around the enormous free form swimming pool. If you prefer, dinner can be enjoyed in the natural beach garden. Lunch and dinner picnics can be provided to be enjoyed on the beach or on the sand dunes. Most guests opt for the full board option.

The Dining Pavilion

This attractive bamboo roofed restaurant has a changing menu showcasing Sri Lankan cuisine with plenty of local fish and seafood options too. One half of the pavilion is restaurant and the other, a spacious bar. The day begins with an international buffet breakfast and lunch is a la carte with dishes made with fresh local produce.
