Ulusaba Private Game Reserve

Overview

Owned by Richard Branson himself, the uber luxurious Ulusaba Private Game Reserve is a safari retreat surrounded by breathtaking scenery and magnificent accommodation.

The Safari Lodge is built along the banks of the Mabrak Riverbed. Beneatth the canopy of trees sits the treehouse rooms; connected by swing style bridges. The Ulusaba Private Game reserve has captured the safari spirit with the resort hidden under the untouched bush canopy.

Room Types

With only 21 rooms and suites, the Safari, Cliff and Rock Lodges are an intimate and romantic way to explore the African Wilderness. Each of the rooms include private entrances and terraces.

Elephant Rooms

The Elephant rooms are set in the bush, nearby the watering hole. Built in a tree house style, high above the African bush; the spacious elephant rooms have a large terrace and en-suite bathrooms looking out over the reserve.
River Rooms

The four River Rooms are of a tree house style, exuding privacy and romance. Two of the four River Rooms have private, infinity plunge pools. Each en-suite bathrooms offer views of the bush. River Rooms 2, 3 and 4 are accessible by a swing bridge.
Treehouse Suite

The Ulusaba Private Game Reserve Treehouse Suite is bar far the most luxurious accommodation found in a Safari Camp. Stand on your private deck taking in views over the Xikwenga Dam, where hippos and elephants come to bathe. Adjacent to this, sits the large viewing deck ideal for breakfast, lunches and private dinners.
Cliff Lodge One

The luxurious Cliff Lodge One features two bedrooms with a spacious lounge with fireplace, a separate kitchen and bar as well as a mini spa, gym and outdoors pool deck.
Rock suite

The Rock suites are part of the Rock Lodge, where you’ll be living a hundred feet above the wilderness. Featuring 2 spacious bedrooms and a living area, the Rock Suite is a haven of tranquility with incredible vistas over the bush.
Master Suite

The Master Suite is known as the honeymoon haven and also holds the title of being one of Richard Branson’s favourite rooms, featuring a pool view, with three levels of panoramic vista, the Master Suite is designed for adding the wow factor into your honeymoon.
Makwela Suites

The Makwela Suites offers two levels of luxury, with private balconies with infinity edge pools. Enjoy a separate sitting area and study with library for a quiet afternoon in front of some of the world’s most cherished and natural panoramas.
