Facilities

A great jumping off point for immersing yourself in Cape Town’s culture, The Silo Hotel is ideal situated on the V&A waterfront.
Easily enjoy romantic days out around the city, hiking the mountains, visiting Table Mountain, stopping by the beach, or admiring the internationally-influenced architecture. Then return to the hotel to cap-off your experiences with a glass or two of Champagne at the Sky Terrace, where you can watch the sun set together.

For days when you want to relax, seek out the hotel’s crowning glory —a rooftop swimming pool from which you can enjoy fantastic views. Alternatively, visit the spa, which boasts five treatment rooms, including two that can be transformed into couples’ rooms, as well as a gym, sauna and a dedicated manicure and pedicure area. You’ll be able to enjoy a number of treatments for one or two people, and even an outdoor massage.

For culture vultures, carefully curated artwork adorns the hotel from top to bottom, drawing inspiration from Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa — the museum underneath. The hotel exudes passion for style, design and art, so there’s even a private art gallery to enjoy in The Vault area, as well as bookable tailored art tours.

Restaurants

There are three spaces for eating and drinking at this decadent Cape Town honeymoon hotel. But, if you’d rather something a little more exclusive, you can request a private dining room for up to 22 guests.
  • Granary Café

Specialising in ‘contemporary cuisine’, this elegant dining space is the place to be for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even Sunday roasts or Royal Tea. Executive Chef Veronica Canha-Hibbert focuses on seasonal and local ingredients, and you can expect dishes such as Eggs Benedict, vegetable terrine and seafood curry.
  • The Silo Rooftop

City, mountain and water views combine to make this a fantastic location. The rooftop bar is perfect for a celebratory glass of South African wine or a relaxed lunch of oysters, tempura or sandwiches.
  • The Willaston Bar

Taking its name from the first ship to export grain in the former silo complex, this chic bar serves light breakfasts, snacks, cocktails and has an extensive wine list.
