Room Types

Segera is home to 6 timber and thatch villas built on elevated platforms to offer unparalleled views over the savannah. Each one boasts its own private deck comfortably furnished with lounge chairs where you can relax and enjoy the vistas all around you; they also feature swinging beds and outdoor hot tubs for that extra touch of opulence.

    These beautifully decorated villas feature antique furnishings, rustic décor and luxurious amenities for a honeymoon of a lifetime. Step outside to the raised observation deck with the most marvellous views across the reserve, as well indulging in your own private salt-water pool and private garden.
  • Villas

    The spacious villas have thatch roofs, built on an elevated wooden platform, where the most intriguing tropical views can be adored. Each villa features a private decking area with a private outdoor hot tub.
  • Villa Segera

    Honeymoon couples are sure to enjoy an ultra-romantic Kenyan honeymoon in Villa Segera, the ideal couples’ retreat, with its two wooden buildings joined by a swing bridge, private salt-water pool and well-manicured garden, and a private veranda.

Facilities

Segera Retreat is also home to its own lavish spa and wellness centre where you can enjoy blissful massages, facials and scrubs.


Alternatively you can work up an appetite in the fully-equipped gymnasium, take a dip in the salt-water swimming pool or try soothing yoga and meditation sessions.


As well as enjoying spectacular game drives across the savannah surrounding the retreat you can also enjoy more cultured pursuits, such as touring the quirky Sculpture Garden and viewing the many other stunning artworks scattered throughout the retreat. You can also visit the Segera shop and purchase traditional tribal leatherwork and beads and explore the village and meet the local women who create these stunning pieces.

Restaurants

Dining at Segera Retreat is a delectable experience, especially as the innovative dishes are created using the freshest ingredients grown on the reserve or sourced from neighbouring farms.

You can choose to dine in the privacy of your own villa, enjoy a light meal by the communal pool or savour a cosy romantic meal in the converted stables. The Paddock House is another dining area which offers panoramic views toward Mount Kenya.
