Room Types

There are 19 rooms and suites at Montpelier and they are all beautiful with plenty of fresh air and tranquility and the opportunity to simply relax in stunning surroundings. The rooms and suites are full of character and are all light and bright with ceiling fans. There is a king size bed, living area with comfortable seating and mini bar and an attractive bathroom with twin vanity basins and shower. Robes and bath products are provided and daily newspapers can be requested. There are no televisions except in the communal TV room. There is air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests are served breakfast in their rooms each morning.
  • Premier Room

    Beautifully spacious (49m²) with white marble floors, white walls and pitched white roof. The beautiful dark wood furniture complements the white and the lush green of the garden through the large windows. There is a beautiful king size bed and living area with rattan armchairs and coffee table and elegant en suite bathroom. A door leads out onto the private furnished terrace.
  • Plantation Room

    This delightful 49m² room has polished wood floors and dark blue feature wall that contrasts with the white linen on the king size bed. Soft furnishings are in colourful combinations of dark blue and white. There is a living area with rattan armchairs and coffee table and outside the furnished verandah has lovely sea views, making it the perfect place to relax together on your romantic and relaxing honeymoon in St Kitts and Nevis.
  • Garden Suite

    Light, bright and so comfortable, this beautiful split-level suite is the hotel’s first room to go 'green' with contemporary styling and eco friendly features. The suite has wide jalousie windows overlooking the lush vegetation outside. Light shades complement the colour of the greenery and Caribbean shades of lime green and orange have been used for the soft furnishings. There is bamboo flooring throughout. The attractive living area has a sofa, armchairs and coffee table plus a coffee machine and iPod docking station. A couple of steps lead up to the beautiful bedroom area with king size bed and the attractive bathroom that has a walk-in rain shower. Outside the suite, there is a gorgeous private gazebo with an oversized couch and large pillows that is surrounded by vegetation and is the perfect romantic hideaway for two.

Facilities

You can be as active as you want in Nevis – or if you prefer, you can simply stretch out on the private beach or on your verandah. Montpelier Plantation & Beach has a stunning 20-metre mosaic pool that has great views of the volcano and there is a private sandy beach with bar and private cabanas located just 15 minutes away (shuttle transport is available). There are bikes to hire and it is fun to explore the ruins of old sugar mills and the villages as you pedal around Nevis and there are fruit trees, beautiful birds and the little monkeys to admire. If you enjoy water sports, there is sailing, deepsea fishing and scuba diving to enjoy the Caribbean’s underwater world. You can learn how to prepare and cook gourmet dishes with the hotel's Head Chef. There is a TV room in the hotel and yoga is available.

Restaurants

A member of Relais & Chateaux and the recipient of an AAA four diamond award, proves that fine dining is taken very seriously at Montpelier Plantation & Beach. Enjoy contemporary Caribbean cuisine made with the freshest of ingredients – and organic ones whenever possible. There is a well-stocked cellar with some exceptional wines and aged rums. There are weekly beach barbecues organized, but if you prefer, in-room dining can be arranged for either lunch or dinner for ultimate privacy on your honeymoon.
  • Restaurant 750

    This lovely restaurant is full of character as it has a beamed ceiling, dark wood furniture and a tiled floor. The dark orange candles are mirrored in the sparkling glassware. The dishes are cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.
  • Mill Privée

    This stunning sugar mill is 300 years old and offers the only dining area like it in the world. It is the perfect setting for a romantic and memorable dinner for two as its atmosphere blends history and romance perfectly. The Chef creates a very special five-course tasting menu for you to enjoy together.
  • Indigo

    Casual Island dining at tables next to the hotel's beautiful mosaic pool. Indigo offers guests light refreshing lunches including salads and snacks and for dinner there are sharing platters, cocktails, fine wines and Champagne on the delightful terrace.
