Kanuhura is a 5-star luxury retreat with a lush turquoise lagoon and a nearby diving paradise at Lhaviyani Atoll, as well as the neighbouring Jehunuhura, which is just as much a paradise island as Kanuhura.

Room Types

Kanuhura features 110 beautiful villas, all offering either sunset or sunrise views. Expansive living quarters such as open-air bathrooms and homely furnishings are all features that allow couples to enjoy a blissful stay on an idyllic island.

Beach Bungalow

Spacious and relaxing with 75 sq m of space, surrounded by greenery and with direct access to the beach the villas have a shaded deck area with table and chairs. The living area has a sofa and coffee table and separate bedroom with double bed. The open bathroom leads outdoors and has a freestanding bath tub and open air shower.
Beach Villa

These 90 sqm villas are situated on the eastern side with sea views and direct lagoon access. There are light wood floors and a frosted glass partition that separates the bedroom area with double bed, from the living area. The bathroom opens to the outdoors and has a bathtub and vanity basins half inside and an outdoor shower.
Water Villa

Suspended over the water, these 140 sqm villas are a great choice for celebrating a special occasion. Outside, they are connected to the island by a timber walkway and have a spacious furnished sun deck with hammock suspended out over the water! The living area has a sofa and bedroom with double bed. The bathroom has a freestanding open-air bathtub.
Beach Pool Villa

These 120 sqm opulent villas offer Intimate Island living with the beach directly on your doorstep leading down to the Ocean. Take a soak on your plunge pool or relax on a lounger on your sun deck. The semi-open bathroom features a shower. Villa amenities include guest bikes, coffee and tea making facilities, mini bar and much more.
Retreat Beach Pool Villa

Offering upmost privacy, these 250 sqm villas have 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room, outdoor space with veranda and private pool that faces the sunset and a spacious bathroom that opens outdoors with open-air showers. Grand Beach Pool Villa

Sanctuary Pool Villa

This hideaway overlooks the beach and lagoon and is perfect for families with 715 sq m of space. There are three bedrooms and bathrooms. The living area has sofas and dining area. The garden has a gazebo and day bed and the large verandah has sun loungers, table and chairs and a hammock. The beautiful private pool is very enticing.
Retreat Grand Beach Pool Villa

The ultra spacious 370 sqm villa has two separate king size bedrooms that lead out to the open-air shower. The stunning outdoor area features a plunge pool, veranda with lounges, table and chairs and is just moments from the soft white sandy beach. Enjoy amenities such as mini bar, Bluetooth Bose sound system, TV and much more.
Water Pool Villa

Poised over the lagoon and located at the edge of the walkway, these 165 sqm villas offer a furnished sundeck with plunge pool and direct ocean access. The additional living room has a library for entertainment and the spacious bathroom features an open-air bathtub. Amenities include a mini bar, hairdryer, Bluetooth Bose sound system, tea and coffee facilities and more.
Grand Beach Villa

This spacious 270 sqm villa is perfect for families or groups with a large outdoor deck with table, chairs and sun loungers with sunrise views. The living area has sofa, armchairs and dining area. There are two bedrooms; one is a double and the other a twin and both have semi open bathrooms with bathtub and open air shower.

Take some time out on your honeymoon to relax in the Kokaa wellness retreat & spa, with 9 spacious treatment rooms with three double rooms for couple massages, an outdoor beachside spa pavilion, beauty salon, cold plunge pool, Jacuzzi and aerobics gym.

Keeping fit is easy at Kanuhura, with an equipped gym and a weekly activity programme that includes yoga, meditation and stretching classes. A personal trainer is also available for a more intimate fitness session. Land activities at Kanuhura include two floodlit tennis courts, an air-conditioned squash court and a fresh water swimming pool.

If it’s your first or fifth time in the Maldives, exploring the underwater world of the Indian Ocean never gets old. Diving and snorkeling excursions can be arranged at Kanuhura as well as PADI certification courses and guided snorkeling trips. Water excursions include big game fishing; island hopping, private island picnics, sunset cruises, Meslagihuraa and watersports.

Island hopping to the neighbouring island of Jehunuhura is an activity that honeymoons may want to consider. This picture-perfect island consists of white sandy beaches with relaxing sun loungers and a sandbank, which makes for the ideal location for a romantic candlelit dinner.

There are 10 restaurants and bars at Kanuhura with world-class culinary dishes from the Indian Ocean and beyond. Come evening, when the sun has set and the island changes from a sun kissed paradise to a lively island party, you’ll have a choice of up to 2 bars and an afternoon beach Deli.

A mano is an all-day dining restaurant with a selection of international dishes, from healthy salads, hearty pasta dishes and Pan-Asian delicacies.
Chef’s Herbs Garden

The Chef’s Herbs Garden is a unique culinary experience by which you tuck into freshly baked foods for lunch and dinner and a selection of herbal teas for afternoon tea, all handpicked from the island’s herb and spice island, which you’ll be seated in.
Drift
