Room Types

There are 79 lovely rooms and suites, which are decorated in soft natural colours with plenty of wood that enhances the vibrancy of the foliage just outside. The rooms are comfortably designed for a relaxing honeymoon in Sri Lanka and have air conditioning throughout. There is a satellite TV, kettle and mini bar provided. There is complimentary Wi-Fi in all public areas.

Deluxe Room

This lovely ground floor room has cool grey tiled floor and attractive wooden furniture. The bed has crisp white linen with lemon highlights. The bathroom is stylish and fitted with a bathtub or walk in shower.
Super Deluxe

This stylish room is situated on an upper floor. It is spacious with lofty ceilings and floor to ceiling sliding windows that lead out onto the furnished balcony/ terrace. Inside, there is a beautiful king size bed with comfortable chairs and dark wood furniture including writing desk.
Luxury Suite

This lovely spacious suite is decorated in lovely mellow wood tones used in the furniture and parquet floor. There is a king size bed and en suite with bath tub or walk-in shower.
Luxury Grand Suite

There are just four of these delightful suites. Each has beautiful dark wood floors and floor to ceiling windows leading out onto the private balcony/terrace which is furnished with chairs and table and overlooks the gardens. Inside, the room is stylish with local carved wood wall decorations and in the bedroom area, a beautiful over large wooden headboard. The bathroom has either a bath tub or walk in shower. An archway from the bedroom leads to the living area which has a sofa and coffee table.
Luxury Super Grand Suite

Relax in these well-appointed rooms with comfy bed and traditional style features that create a wonderful ambience for your Sri Lanka honeymoon. The bathroom features a wallk-in shower and modern amenities to stay refreshed throughout your time here.

Facilities

The resort is situated in seven acres of beautiful natural surroundings and is situated 163 km from Colombo and just 300 metres from Ath Athuru Serana elephant orphanage and just five minutes drive from the Uda Walawe National Park. Surrounded on three sides by the Malabolu Ela waterway and with diverse flora and fauna, this beautiful resort is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature at its best on your Sri Lanka honeymoon.

The Resort has an attractive swimming pool for lazing in and a sun terrace. There is a gym and massages are available. The Resort has its own outside theatre, which is used for a variety of cultural events. The lure though is to explore the surrounding countryside on one of several different safaris.

There is an attractive restaurant and lovely pool bar for cool drinks on a relaxing day and the outside deck of the Gala Bar offers a ringside seat for sunset!

Grand Udawalawe Restaurant

Surrounded by nature, this lovely restaurant has both inside and outside tables and a great selection of both Sri Lankan and European dishes in all its buffets.
