Gaya Island Resort’s accommodation comes in the form of well-appointed 47sqm villas tucked away among the mangroves and the rainforest. Each one is crafted from local materials and features a spacious bedroom and bathroom as well as an outdoor veranda.

Alternatively you can take a 5-minute boat ride to Tavajun Bay, a secluded beach where you can enjoy rustic one-pot meals and drinks while dining on logs or beach mats on the warm golden sand.
For an indulgent honeymoon treat you won’t forget in a hurry, head to the Spa Village, which lies tucked away among the mangroves. Here, skilled therapists practice traditional healing techniques using products harvested from the local area to bring harmony to body, mind and soul and leave you feeling like a whole new person, all your worries and tensions forgotten. The spa’s menu of treatments includes A Couples Celebration of Rice - perfect for honeymooners this therapy features blissful body scrubs, hair masks and facials.

The dining options at Gaya Island Resort are second to none, with the open kitchens of Feast Village dishing up a variety of Asian and Western cuisines as well as breads, cakes and pastries to tempt even the most jaded palates.
For a romantic seafood dinner grab a table at Fisherman’s Cove, on the roof of the resort, and savour the unparalleled views and sophisticated atmosphere, but if you just want a light lunch or a snack make use of the Pool bar & lounge. Here you can relax in one of the floating cabanas with a cocktail and a salad after enjoying a refreshing dip in the infinity pool.
