Room Types

The accommodation including 18 suites and 42 private villas at Four Seasons offers unparalleled luxury with beautiful rooms in soft neutral tones that accentuate the handsome teak furniture and the verdant lush greenery outside. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and the sumptuous living area has LCD plasma TV, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi. The elegant bathroom has deep bath tub and separate shower with twin washbasins and Yukuta robes and slippers plus premium toiletries. The outside tiled terraces are spacious and attractively tiled with dining table and chairs as well as comfortable lounge chairs for relaxing.     Overlooking the sacred Ayung river and the lush resort gardens, the colours used in these 340 sq m villas are soft and muted to accentuate the dramatic surroundings. You are welcomed at the entrance by a beautiful lotus pond and then step down into the villa with its luxurious shaded outdoor living area and private infinity plunge pool. There is a secluded outdoor shower with teak flooring set over a layer of pretty pebbles.

    Sayan Villa is situated at a higher level offering breathtaking views of the Sayan Valley and with total comfort and privacy is perfect for honeymooners. The 460 sq m villa has a beautifully furnished living room and bedroom with its canopied kingsize bed both open out onto the attractive private terrace offering an exclusive retreat in which to relax and enjoy the splash pool, outdoor shower and comfortable furniture which is situated under a large pergola except for a perfect rattan sofa for two which has its own canopy.

Facilities

The Four Seasons Bali at Sayan is a wonderfully relaxing resort with some very special facilities. The two level ribbon swimming pool mirrors the curves of the sacred Ayung river that runs alongside. There is a long wooden deck area with sun loungers perfect for simply stretching out. The stunning circular rooftop lotus pond with its tropical backdrop is truly romantic and the perfect place to embrace the wonders of nature. The shape of the bamboo Dharma Shanti Bale has been inspired by the lotus flower and is the perfect location for yoga and meditation. The riverside bales are three thatched pavilions that are situated in a rice field, the herb garden and on the river bank and offer total peace and serenity.

The Spa is dedicated to Tri Hita Karana – the three sources of life which must be in perfect balance and offers a very special nine hour program as well as a range of special treatments to restore body and mind and these can be enjoyed as a couple as can time with a Spiritual Healer who helps enhance physical, mental and emotional well being. There is a well equipped gym and the chance to practise yoga and learn about anti gravity and full moon yoga. It is fun to join a cookery class with the Resort Chefs to learn about Balinese cuisine.

For those who want to get out and explore there is river rafting, volcano climbing, trekking wildlife special parks including the Sacred Monkey Forest. The colourful town of Ubud just 15 minutes bike ride away with its markets, shops galleries and museums. For something very different, there is the opportunity of spending time with a local rice farmer and learning about the UNESCO listed Subak irrigation system and its importance to the island.

Restaurants

Bali produces rice, vegetables, herbs, spices, tea and coffee and these are all used in a creative way by the Resort’s Chefs in Balinese and Indonesian dishes and international classics. As well as dining in one of the beautiful restaurants, there is the chance to enjoy a delicious four course dinner for two in the privacy of your villa or afloat on the lotus pond or at the river bale in the moonlight.

For snacks and cool drinks throughout the day there is the Jati Bar and as the stars come out there is a change in tempo and the chance to enjoy classic and innovative cocktails - A real must. During your stay at the Four Seasons Bali be sure to feast on the traditional and multi-course Rijsttafel – a meal that can be traced back to when the island was a Dutch colony. The meal is enjoyed at a leisurely pace and comprises of up to 40 small dishes of seasonal specialities – delicious!

    Situated on the crest of a luscious leafy gorge, this stylish restaurant offers traditional home style Indonesian cuisine at lunch time and modern Indonesian dishes for dinner. On selected evenings there is a themed menu.
  • Riverside Café

    Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed in this delightful restaurant which is perched above the pool and offers a tempting array of dishes – many of them using vegetables from the resort’s own garden. At lunch time, the dishes are light, refreshing and healthy, whilst as night there is a contemporary grill selection to be enjoyed under the canopy of stars.
