Room Types

Cocoa Island Maldives offer unique and intimate accommodation, all 33 overwater suites and villas offer direct access to the sparkling lagoon. Traditional Maldivian fishing boats called Dhoni’s are the inspiration behind the unique accommodation.

Inside there are teak floors and rafted ceilings with dazzling white soft furnishings to contrast with the wood and the stunning colour of the sea. There are floor to ceiling windows in the living area to maximise on the unbelievable views. There is a spacious living area with comfortable chairs , a 42” LCD plasma TV, DVD plus ipod docks. There is air conditioning plus a colonial style ceiling fan, coffee and tea making facilities and private bar with drinks and snacks. The bedrooms are attractive and the beds are comfortable, whilst in the attractive bathroom there is a bath tub and separate shower and selection of complimentary toiletries.   • Dhoni Suites

    Styled in a unique traditional dhoni boat shape, the Dhoni Suites are beautiful with an attractive living area and a private sun deck with amazing views of the Indian Ocean. With 75 sq m of floor space, there is a comfortable bedroom area and bathroom.
  • Dhoni Loft Suites

    The split-level 110 sq m of floor space is cleverly divided between the ground floor and mezzine floor with its vaulted ceiling. The generous living area is situated on the ground level and leads out to the sun deck and lagoon staircase whilst on the mezzanine floor there is the attractive bedroom under the rafters with an ensuite bathroom.
  • Loft Villas

    Offering secluded and spacious living, the loft villas have a floor area of 123 sq m with a spacious living area with huge windows with views over the sea to infinity. Upstairs in the loft area, there is a king size bed and in the bathroom there are double vanity units as well as a bath tub and separate shower. Outside there is a spacious sun deck with sun loungers and a table and steps, beckoning you to take a swim in the lagoon.
  • One bed villas

    Elegant and spacious with a private entrance deck, these luxurious villas have 125 sq m of floor space. There is a comfortable king size bed and the ensuite bathroom has an island bath tub plus separate walk-in shower. Outside there is a private jetty and three al fesco areas including one with a day bed and another with sun loungers and table.
  • Como Villas

    There are just two of these fabulous villas with amazing views of the expansive lagoon and sandbank – named Sunrise and Sunset. Approached by a private jetty, they are styled with two wings that are connected by the living and dining areas. There is a beautiful bedroom with king size bed and en suite bathroom and outside there is an al fresco dining area on the deck as well as plenty of space to simply relax on the sun loungers and enjoy each other's company.

Facilities

The COMO Shambhala Retreat takes you on a discovery through the Maldives, using Asian-inspired treatments to soothe your senses. Enjoy facilities from male and female steam rooms, a couple’s treatment room and a large hydrotherapy pool.
For a relaxing activity why not book a private yoga class where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Maldives while practicing the tree pose.

Enjoy the beautiful glistening lagoon with activities ranging from aquatheraphy sessions, guided snorkeling and fish feed excursions or go on a romantic sunset cruise where you can watch the dolphins play.

Restaurants

The dining options at COMO Cocoa Island are superb and the cuisine is Shambhala – light, healthy and nutritious- and prepared with Southern Indian, Asian and European influences.

A fusion of organic ingredients and talented chefs produce COMO Shambhala Cuisine, the resorts tandoor oven allows fat-free cooking of meats, vegetables and fish.

Alongside the dining options mentioned, resort staff are happy to offer private dining on a private sandbank in the resort. A five-course dinner is served to guests while watching the sunset.
  • Ufaa

    Main restaurant Ufaa serves local seafood, head chef Timothy de Souza draws inspiration from the Malabar Coast. Modern Mediterranean dishes and Southeast Asian cuisine also feature on Ufaa’s daily changing menu. In addition to this unique menu, each week diners have the option to enjoy a Thai, Indian or Seafood BBQ.
  • Faru Bar

    This easy going beach bar is right on the sand, next to the infinity pool and is the perfect place to relax and share a cocktail or mocktail or two while watching the sunset. Light snacks are available throughout the day and in the evening, it is a really attractive location to sit and enjoy some fine wine.
  • Private Dining

    This is the most wonderful opportunity to have the most romantic dinner ever – imagine a beautifully laid table sitting on the sands and surrounded by lanterns....
    This service includes meals being delivered to your private sun deck, or dinner to be enjoyed in a tent on the beach, on a sandbank or a sunrise breakfast for two on the beach.
