Room Types

There are just three room categories at Cinnamon Citadel, with 97 Superior Rooms, 24 Deluxe Rooms and an additional 2 suites. Each room offers tranquil views Mahaveli River or the lush landscaped gardens at Cinnamon citadel.

Superior Rooms

The 423 sq. ft. Superior Rooms are scattered across three different wings of the hotel, each on the ground floor offering views of Mahaveli River or the beautifully landscaped gardens. The Superior room features a king size bed, safety deposit box, mosquito vaporizer, toiletries, mini bar, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning.
Deluxe Rooms

Each of the 527 sq. ft. Deluxe Rooms are set in the hotel’s newest wing, offering wonderful vistas of the Mahaveli River or landscaped gardens from a private balcony. Enjoy the use of a writing desk, bathtub, king size bed and closet. Deluxe room amenities include air conditioning, safety deposit box, mosquito vaporizer, toiletries, hair dryer, shaving kit, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities.
Suites

Add extra luxury into your Sri Lanka honeymoon by booking your stay in one of two suites, measuring an impressive 753 sq. ft. with a bedroom and living room, a private balcony or terrace and sublime views of the Mahaveli River. Each suite features air conditioning, safety deposit box, mosquito vaporizer, toiletries, hair dryer, shaving kit and vanity kit. Other amenities include satellite TV, telephone with direct dial, mini bar, bathtub and shower cubicle, a close and free Wi-Fi.

Facilities

No day is the same at Cinnamon Citadel, with many facilities for you to take advantage of. If you love a good pool, Cinnamon Citadel aims to please, with its incredible tranquil pool that is set alongside the river for a truly spectacular view while you sunbathe. The pool is open from 6am until 10pm.

When you’re not sunbathing at the pool, you can head to the indoor sports Centre with access to fun activities such as badminton, table tennis, darts and chess.

For a more precise workout, the gym is equipped with 5 exercise machines, yoga mats and shower facilities. The gym operates from 6am until 10pm.

Cinnamon Citadel is fitted with design features throughout the hotel, which are fit for wheelchair access. With ramps and bigger doorways throughout the resort, to low mirrors, hand rests, safe and clothes rail in closets and special handrails in the showers in the guestrooms.

Panorama

Dining with a view doesn’t get any better than at Panorama Restaurant. Dine alfresco on the balcony with stunning river views. Panorama serves an international and Sri Lankan buffet serving breakfast, dinner and lunch. In room dining is also available from am until midnight.
Café C

Café C is located next to the riverbank on the farther side of the pool, with incredible green views of the backed forest. Café C hosts seating for just 60 guests and serves an a la carte and cocktail menu. Open from 11am to 12am.
Lounge Bar

The Lounge Bar is set in the center of the lobby serving cocktails and wines with international spirits and mocktails. For spectacular views whilst sipping on your refreshment of choice, head to the terrace for river scenes. The Lounge Bar occupies up to 100 guests and is open from 10am until midnight.
