Cape Weligama offers honeymooners a welcoming stay in a beautiful location nestled into the natural slopes on top of the headland of Weligama. With a total of 39 rooms, which are built to resemble a traditional Sri Lankan village with terracotta-tiled roofs and stylish interiors, guests can enjoy a spacious oasis to begin married life.

Pool View Master Suite

Stylish, spacious and perfect for two, this 150 sq m suite has a terrace with sun loungers and table and chairs. Inside, there is an attractive living area and king size bed and the lavish bathroom has a large stone bathtub with hand shower, twin vanity basins and a steam room.
Ocean Villa

The romantic 130 sqm Ocean Villa is elevated to ensure a wonderful view of the Indian Ocean. The master bedroom opens out onto the terrace with its sun loungers and table and chairs and the terrace leads into the garden area with semi-private infinity pool shared with a few other villas. The bathroom in this villa opens out onto the terrace.
Premier Ocean Villa

This 180 sqm villa has a large furnished verandah with comfortable chairs and sofa and al fresco dining. The villa has an elevated position ensuring beautiful views of the Indian Ocean. The bedroom features a king size bed and en suite with stone bath and steam room. Outside is a beautiful shared semi private infinity pool.
Prestige Ocean Villa

The stunning furnishings in this villa take luxury to a new level! Inside is a living area with sofa and armchairs plus a personal bar where your butler can mix a drink for you. The bedroom has a king bed and reading area and the gorgeous en suite bathroom has a stylish stone bathtub and steam room.
Grand Ocean Villa

This beautiful villa has 200 sqm of floor space which includes a living room, king bedroom and bathroom with oval stone bathtub and steam room. This villa has the largest verandah, which is perfect for relaxing and dining with beautiful ocean views. Enjoy lush garden views and the use of a shared semi private 15m-infinity pool.
Ocean Pool Villa

This villa is situated on the first floor at an elevation of 40 metres for breathtaking vistas. Outside is a beautiful verandah with a 15-metre infinity pool. Inside is a living area and king bedroom which opens out onto a sundeck. The bathroom has a large stone bathtub, modern technology includes a Sonas surround speakers with access to 1,000 songs.

Facilities

Cape Weligama has one of the most stunning pools in Sri Lanka ! A breath taking 60m crescent shaped pool that offers 270° panoramic views of the ocean with a spacious sun bathing terrace and surf bar underneath it.

There is the chance to enjoy spa treats in your suite or villa or if you prefer, a whole day of treatments in the Spa Villa. Wonderful body scrubs are prepared with home grown nutmeg, cloves, sweet orange and sandalwood whilst massages are made with Ceylon tea which is rich in antioxidants, is anti-ageing and calming. For those who relax by working out, there is an air-conditioned gym.

Cape Weligama is close to two public beaches that never get busy as there are no other hotels around! There is a PADI diving centre and private cruises and big game fishing. In season, there are whale and dolphin spotting trips.

Restaurants

The restaurants at the Weligama offer wonderfully prepared dishes using the freshest ingredients. The Cape Club is the perfect place to enjoy a traditional High Tea with superb Ceylon tea. If you would like to enjoy a romantic dinner for two in the privacy of your suite or villa or on the beautiful sandy beach, this is easily arranged and the table will be set and the meal served by one of the private butlers.

Ocean Terrace

This beautiful restaurant is the Resort's main dining restaurant and is open all day. Breakfast is served from sunrise and can be enjoyed out on the terrace or inside. Lunches are light and nutritious and dinner is a galaxy of beautifully prepared and presented dishes.
The Surf Bar

Sitting on the dramatic cliffs overlooking the sea, The surf Bar is a casual dining option in gorgeous location where handcrafted cocktails can be sipped while enjoying the mesmerizing views.
Tableau Restaurant

Poised on the cliff top with dramatic views of the Indian Ocean, This restaurant specialises in fresh seasonal produce and locally caught fish, which the Chefs prepare in front of your eyes into a variety Sri Lankan and Pan Asian specialties.
Cape Club

Placed on the cliff top, Cape Club offers guests stunning views across the Indian Ocean where daily Dilmah High Tea can be experienced in the day or evening as the sun goes down.
