As well as being unique, the Bubble Lodges have been ecologically designed using minimum matter and energy so that they harmonise with the lush greenery that surrounds them. Each lodge is totally separate for privacy, with some lying close to the lake shore. They offer honeymooners seclusion and comfort under a canopy of stars and the chance to waken to birds singing in the trees and Java deer wandering by.

Double bedroom suite
Bubble Lodge is an exceptional experience as accommodation is in a double bubble style transparent structure on a wooden floor. The larger transparent bubble is the bedroom which is absolutely stunning with maximum viewing pleasure of the surrounding wood and its wildlife. There is a queen-sized bed and a living area with bean bags and coffee table, tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning for comfort. The soft furnishings are sumptuous natural fabrics in earthy tones. At night, the view of the stars above is breathtakingly beautiful and the sky view app can be used from the bed! The bathroom bubble is opaque and has attractive wooden furniture with an ecological dry toilet and wash basin. The shower is dramatically located outside on a wooden deck surrounded by dense foliage that is cleverly floodlit.
Facilities
The beauty about a holiday at Bubble Lodge is that days can be spent doing very little but relaxing and enjoying the slow pace of life together. There are pedal boats and kayaks and the chance to try tilapia fishing – which are all complementary to guests whilst visits to the tea factory can be arranged at a supplement as well as golf and quad biking (needs to be booked before arrival) With such wonderful views of the night time sky there is plenty of opportunity to simply relax and enjoy what dreams are made of...
Restaurants
The elegant Bois Chéri Restaurant is situated in a colonial house offering magnificent views over the lake with its geese, ducks and black swans. Each table is beautifully laid and decorated with fresh flowers and guests can enjoy a wonderful Mauritian style dinner with romantic music playing in the background. Breakfasts are really good and can be enjoyed on the restaurant terrace to the sound of birdsong and the restaurant. Also offers a la carte lunches.
