Ambre Mauritius is a gorgeous adult-only and fully inclusive resort on the Bay of Palmar on the eastern coast of the island. Overview

Room Types

All the rooms and suites are contemporarily designed. The rooms have individual air conditioning and large floor to ceiling glass doors that lead out onto the private veranda/terrace. In the living area, there is a 32” LCD TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar. The smart bathroom has a walk-in shower and slippers and toiletries are provided. There is complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

Ambre Suite

Situated on the first floor with magnificent sea views, this suite (80m²) has a separate living room and bedroom. The living room has a sofa and armchairs plus a snug for relaxing. The bedroom is spacious with a lovely king size bed and large comfortable reading chair. The stylish bathroom has both bathtub and separate shower.
Superior Sea Facing

This 30m² room is situated on the ground or first floor at the end of the South Wing, which is a particularly quiet location. This room is sea facing and is in close proximity of the beach. Inside, the king size bed points towards the sliding glass windows and the balcony with the lagoon and ocean beyond.
Deluxe Beach Room

With 42m² of floor area, these stylish rooms are on the first or second floor of the hotel. They are very comfortable with a spacious living area with sofa and armchairs and comfortable king size bed. They have direct access to the hotel's lush tropical gardens and enjoy lovely sea views.
Deluxe Sea Facing room terrace/balcony

This attractive room (42m²) is situated on the first floor with views of the lagoon and ocean. The room has light coloured floors and walls and is bright and spacious with comfortable chairs and a lovely king size bed with brightly coloured accents. Outside there is a terrace/balcony with table and chairs which is perfect for relaxing moments.
Courtyard Room

This lovely room is situated on the ground, first or second floor and has 20m² of floor area. There are comfortable chairs and a king size bed and outside a private terrace/balcony with table and chairs.
Honeymoon Suite

Newlyweds can celebrate their honeymoon in the Honeymoon Suite, featuring a bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, sea facing balcony and stylish bedroom with king bed. Each room has a 32-inch TV, air conditioning, safe and tea and coffee facilities.
Superior Garden Room

Tropical garden views can be enjoyed from these spacious 30 sqm rooms, which are elegantly furnished with tropical décor. Enjoy the gorgeous views from the terrace or balcony and the convenience of being close to the beach. Each room has a 32-inch TV, air conditioning, safe and tea and coffee facilities.
Deluxe Sea-Facing Room

Located on the first or second floor, these 42 sqm rooms are spacious with stunning views of the tropical surroundings and ocean. Each room has a 32-inch TV, air conditioning, safe and tea and coffee facilities.

Facilities

There is a gorgeous hotel pool, numerous sun loungers and a spa offering pampering treatments.

The hotel offers plenty of ways to explore including kayaks, pedaloes and stand up paddle boards. It is a fantastic opportunity to go diving or snorkelling. There is tuition available at the Resort's dive school.

The hotel has a well-being and fitness centre. There are also two floodlit tennis courts and the 18-hole Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club is situated 20 minutes drive away.

Enjoy fantastic food in the Ambre's three attractive restaurants or if you cannot be pulled away from your sun lounger, order a lunchtime snack and cool drink from the Beach Bar and it will be served to you by the pool or on the beach!

This colourful restaurant is situated just metres from the sea and is the perfect place to enjoy antipasti, pizza and pastas as well as a full menu of authentic Italian dishes.
Indigo

The day begins in this restaurant with a generous international breakfast buffet and in the evening, there is a tempting selection of international favourites prepared at the various live cooking stations.
La Plage

With your toes in the sand, this beautiful restaurant is the perfect setting for lazy lunches or candlelit dinners. The menu features wonderful Mediterranean fare and Mauritian specialities that can be enjoyed with romantic vistas of the ocean.
Coral
