Lake Victoria

John Hanning Speke, who was the first person to document the lake, named Lake Victoria after Queen Victoria. This landmark is the world’s largest tropical lake and the world’s second largest freshwater lake by surface. The lake is surrounded with tropical banana trees and charming fishing villages for further exploring opportunities. Romantic boat rides on the lake will have you exploring the many tropical species of birds, fish eagles, kingfishers, pelicans and otters. Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park is home to 114 reptiles, 507 bird and 147 mammals, making this one of the largest game reserves in South Africa. Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti National Park is a starting point for the great migration, from the months of November to May thousands of wildebeest and zebra congregate and towards the end of May the land becomes dry. This park is located within Mara and Simyiu regions. As well as spotting the big beasts of the land, you can find lizards, dung beetle and birds including ostriches.
