Tour Overview

An airboat adventure on the Florida Everglades provides a thrilling journey of discovery for all. Effortlessly glide over the sawgrass and cattails as you’re told stories about this unique environment. If you’re confident enough you can hold an alligator, if not then maybe seeing  a Florida Panther is more appealing! This majestic wildlife along with over 100 mammals and reptiles can be seen at the animal exhibit which is included in the excursion, many of them rescued!

This is your chance to see rare wildlife and learn about the remarkable history of the Florida Everglades.

What to expect

Make your way by car to Florida Everglades from Fort Lauderdale, which is around an hours drive away. Your ticket includes a thrilling airboat journey with a maximum of 15 passengers.

Once you reach Florida Everglades, your tour starts with an exciting journey though the grassy waters and the boat reaches up to 40 miles per hour! As you skim the waters you will learn all about the subtropical ecosystem from your captain. Keep your camera close by as you spot the flourish of wildlife, from alligators to fish, turtles and birds!

Once you’ve finished the airboat tour why not explore the exhibits inside Sawgrass Recreation Park whilst you are there?

There are three exhibits to see – Reptile, Glades and Exotic Wildlife exhibits.

With a wealth of reptiles at the Reptile Exhibit, you can both stroll around at the incredible creatures that are native and exotic to Florida. From turtles and iguanas, to snakes and alligators. The park guides are on hand to answer any questions you may have too!

Discover the history of the area and conservation efforts at the Glades Exhibit, which showcases a video presentation. There are plenty of animals to see too, from the African spur thigh tortoise to rare gopher tortoises rescued from a construction site, iguanas and peacocks.

Last but not least, the Exotic Wildlife Exhibit is where you will find the wild cats, from panthers to leopards and bobcats to caracals and much more.
