    Nestled on the eastern coast of the island overlooking the sea, this remarkable restaurant offers a genuine feast for the senses thanks to its atmospheric location and architecture. Inspired by the Asian and Middle-Eastern journeys of Maldivian Dr. Ali, this enchanting eatery serves up a mouth-watering menu of delicacies from those regions, including fiery Cantonese fare and authentic curries and tandoori meals.   • Fashala

An ideal al fresco dining option thanks to its beachside pavilions and plentiful outdoor seating, the restaurant also provides entertainment in the evenings courtesy of local band Black Pearl.
