OVERVIEW

Bangkok is a non-stop, vibrant city full of discovery and adventure. The famous temples, night markets and golden Buddha’s are just a handful of things to sees throughout your Bangkok honeymoon. Immerse yourself in the culture of Bangkok by taking a tuk-tuk ride around the city, seeing the diverse areas from a local’s perspective.

There is plenty of culture to soak up throughout Thailand and the Grand Palace in Bangkok is one of the most popular, where tourists can view the highly decorated buildings and is home to Wat Phra Kaew, the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand that houses the Emerald Buddha.

With delicious food, a tropical climate, fascinating culture and sun kissed beaches; Thailand is a dream honeymoon location for any traveller. Located in Southeast Asia, Thailand offers a range of accommodation options from hotels to beautiful private pool villas where you can spend your Bangkok honeymoon in an intimate location as newlyweds.

Thailand is a beautiful exotic location that’s safe and offers some of the most luxurious hotels in the world for a smaller price than you will find in the Indian Ocean. Bangkok is the most vibrant city of Thailand where the streets are always busy and culture is all around you.

For a luxurious honeymoon stay in Bangkok, we love Banyan Tree Bangkok, well known for its breath taking rooftop bar & restaurant – Vertigo and Moon Bar.

Explore the city of Bangkok with a guided river cruise on the Chao Phraya in a river taxi or the noisy, but exciting longtail boats or check out the beautiful Temple of the Emerald Buddha, a must-see attraction for travellers visiting this vibrant city.

Shopping lovers will find heaven in Bangkok with the city’s famous floating markets at Damnoen Saduak and the many outdoor markets bursting with knick knacks and beautiful handmade jewellery where you will be sure to find a bargain as you haggle and negotiate your way to a great bargain.

If you’re looking for souvenirs to make your friends and family back home super jealous of your Thailand honeymoon, head to the malls of Siam, Central World where you will find high end shops and a luxurious dining experience.

The main airports in Thailand are Bangkok and Phuket and both are well-served by intercontinental flights. There also international airports located at Hat Yai, Koh Samui and Chiang Mai. If you are catching a Taxi in the cities, always ask to use the meter as Taxi’s often try to make tourists pay a price, which is a lot more expensive than the meter would be.
