Room Types

All of the 312 rooms at Couples Swept away feature private verandahs with hammocks or lounge chairs and colonial-style plantation shutters, as well as king-size beds, fully stocked mini bars and spacious bathrooms containing a range of Gilchrist and Soames products. You can also take advantage of the flat screen TV and iPod/MP3 player, not to mention the nightly turndown service.
  • Garden Verandah

    Terracotta floors, cedar shutters and French doors, the Garden Verandah is tranquil suite that used the influence of the tropical exteriors and brings them into the indoors in an elegant and modern manner. This suite is located around the edge of the resort with easy access to the quiet road.
  • Great House Verandah

    Opt for one of the Great House Verandah Suites, which are located in the resort’s Great House, and enjoy stunning views from your balcony as well as easy access to the pool, restaurants and beach, among others.
  • Premier Beachfront Suite

    Alternatively the Premier Beachfront Suite is located just steps away from the sand and features a delightful wrap-around terrace, perfect for whiling away balmy tropical evenings. No TV is included in this room as it would detract from the quiet beauty and tranquillity of the suite.
  • Atrium Room

    With only four of Great House Ocean Suites around the resort, you can enjoy luxurious and unlimited living in these well-located suites. Be first to breakfast in these suites, located near the resorts fine collection of restaurants. For amazing sceneries unlike no other, head to the balcony where you can savour soe quiet time with unobstructed views of the Caribbean Ocean and Seven Mile beach.

For decadent pampering during the day make your way to the opulent spa, which features the stunning centrepiece of a Buddha plunge pool, not to mention eight private treatment rooms, showers and a eucalyptus steam room. The menu of available treatments includes body scrubs, wraps and blissful massages, incorporating locally sourced ingredients such as sugar cane and ginger. You can also enjoy standard beauty treatments such as manicures, pedicures and hair styling.

If you want to work up a sweat, guests can take advantage of the resort’s impressive 10-acre fitness complex which encompasses 10 tennis courts, a 25-meter lap pool, private aerobics room and fully-equipped gym, among other facilities. A variety of water sports are also available, including snorkelling, water skiing, kayaking, pool volleyball and scuba diving.

From gourmet dining to light, healthy lunches, Couples Swept Away has it all. Home to six eateries you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to taking your meals.

For breakfast head to The Palms or Patois Patio but for delicious fruit smoothies and a range of wholesome salads and sandwiches perfect for lunch make your way to Seagrape Café.
As the sun begins to sink below the horizon, don your glad rags and grab a table at Lemon Grass for mouth-watering authentic Thai cuisine, or Feathers, which serves up continental cuisine with a piquant Caribbean twist.

You can also opt for private dining on the beach, which includes three delicious courses and a bottle of signature Couples wine.

Afterwards head to the piano bar for a selection of Couples cocktails and enjoy the fun-filled nightly entertainment, which comes in the form of talented performers playing everything from steel drums to reggae to rock. The resort also offers a schedule of Special Nights, including beach parties and a Honeymooners party.
