Travelling when the school holidays are on can add extra costs to your honeymoon. Flights and hotels are more expensive during that period, try and choose your dates wisely !

Some destinations are more expensive than others due to popularity. Try and pick somewhere which meets your budget and don't just follow the crowd. Most people want sea and sand and there are many destinations which offer this at cheaper rates than the usual honeymoon hot spots.

Look out for offers on flights and hotels. Airlines are always putting on special offer prices if you book in advance. Many hotels do early bird scheme so for example you stay 7 nights but only pay for 5.
